St. Thomas Adult Bible Study

All adults, 18 and over are WELCOME and encouraged to participate in this parish wide bible study.  You need not be a bible expert, or even a member of our parish or Catholic to participate.  In fact, the only requirement is having a hunger to learn.

The St. Thomas bible study program consists of a fall session and a winter/spring session.  Each bible study has a daytime or evening session to choose from--either Wednesday mornings (9:30-11:30 am) or Thursday evenings (6:30 pm - 8:30  pm).  We meet in the parish center and use the same format each week:  home study, lecture by a professional speaker on DVD, and small group discussion led by a trained facilitator.

Most of our bible studies cost anywhere from $10 to $30, and need-based scholarships are available.  Just ask us when you register.  In addition to the bible study materials you will need to have a bible (The Revised Standard Version or The New American Bible are recomended) and a Catechism of the Catholic Church for these studies.  These items can be obtained on loan if you are not able to acquire them.

Join us for an 8 week bible study on Ephesians.  For your convenience, a volunteer is in the vestibule to take your registration the weekends of January 6/7 and January 13/14.  Otherwise, register in the parish office through January 15.  See the flyer for details and day and time options.
