St. Thomas Altar Society




The St. Thomas Altar Society meets from September through May on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Altar Society Room in the Church Building.  The 2018 Fall Kick-off potluck meeting took place on Monday, September 10, in the Altar Society Room.    Officers serve for 2-year terms. Dues are $5.00 per year. Please go to the parish office and fill out a talent survey.

QUILTERS MEET IN THE ALTAR SOCIETY ROOM EVERY TUESDAY AFTER THE 8:00 AM MASS UNTIL NOON.  COME FOR HELP WITH YOUR PROJECTS AND TO HELP WITH THE CURRENT SOCIETY PROJECT. 
Projects sponsored by the Altar Society during the year are: Rummage Sale in July, a Thanksgiving/Christmas Bazaar and Raffle in November, Mother's Day Bouquets and May Crowning of the Blessed Mother, and Cookie Sales in December and February.

The Altar Society takes care of the linens and flowers in the Church. The ladies put on a funeral luncheon for the family of a deceased parishioner. The Altar Society recently opened a religious item store. Items are available for sale before and after all Masses.

All women registered at St. Thomas belong to the Altar Society. You are invited to attend the meetings and become involved with our work for the church. Please come forward and offer your time and talent to our parish family.

We offer rosaries, crucifixes, statues, Bibles, Children's books, prayer books and jewelry.  Our mission is to provide devotional materials to help you practice and celebrate your faith.

Needy Box Items are Due Dec. 16, 2018

The needy will pick up their boxes on Monday, December 17.  It is important that if you removed a tag from the giving tree that you return the item by Sunday, December 16.  If all the tags are gone, don't despair, you can donate cash, check or a Fred Meyer or Walmart gift card.


Poinsettia Dedication Money is Due Dec. 22, 2018

See the forms in the church bulletin or in the office.  Dedicate a poinsettia in honor of or in memory of a loved one.
